Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") announced that its board of directors resolved the proposed personnel changes described below following the board of directors' receipt of a report from the Tokio Marine Group nomination committee, which serves as an advisory body to the board of directors.


The changes below are expected to be made effective at the meeting of the board of directors following the Company’s ordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for late June 2009.

1. Scheduled promotion of directors
       Daisaku Honda
                   New Position: Executive Vice President (Representative Director)
                   Current Position: Senior Managing Director (Representative Director)

       Shin-Ichiro Okada
   　              New Position: Senior Managing Director
   　              Current Position: Managing Director

2. Candidates for directors
       Kunio Ito
                   New Position: Director (Outside Director)
                   Current Position: Professor, Graduate School of Commerce and Management,
                                               Hitotsubashi University

3. Scheduled resignation of directors
       Hiroshi Endo (*)         Managing Director

       Haruo Shimada 　      Director (Outside Director)

       Tsuyoshi Nagano　 　 Director

(*) Mr. Hiroshi Endo is expected to be appointed as Managing Director (Non-member of the Board) as of the date of the scheduled resignation.
